Eavestrough cleaning and repair in Forest Hill
Forest Hill has some of the biggest trees and tallest eaves in Toronto. We clean eavestroughs on the large 1920s and 1930s homes of Forest Hill South and Forest Hill North, and on the ravine streets near Cedarvale, where the oaks keep dropping long after the rest of the city is bare.

The trees that clog your gutters
Mature oaks and maples tower over most Forest Hill streets, and the Cedarvale and Nordheimer ravines add a woodland's worth of oak, maple and ash debris to the lots that back onto them. Oaks are the slow finishers: they hold their leaves into late November, then drop acorns and catkins that pack downspouts tight.
The homes we service here
Large two- and three-storey detached homes from the 1920s and 1930s, many in Georgian and Tudor styles with steep roofs, dormers and deep valleys, plus a growing number of custom rebuilds. High eaves and long runs are the norm, and some homes still carry original or copper eavestroughs that need a gentle hand.
When to book in Forest Hill
Forest Hill runs late. The maples drop from mid-October, but the big oaks hold on until late November, so a clean booked before the oaks let go is a clean you will pay for twice. Most homes do best with a late-November fall clean and a late-spring visit after the maple keys and oak catkins come down. Ravine lots near Cedarvale often want a touch-up between the two in heavy years.
What the job involves in Forest Hill
Forest Hill jobs are about height and care. Three-storey eaves and dormers mean long ladders set on planned footing, standoffs so nothing leans on an old gutter, and hand-clearing on older and copper troughs rather than anything abrasive. Many homes price as large or estate homes, $549 at two storeys, and three-storey estate homes get a custom quote so the access is planned rather than improvised. Standard detached homes are $399 at two storeys and $499 at three, and oak-heavy lots add $20 for the extra hauling. The photo report covers every high run, because nobody checks a third-storey gutter from the lawn.
