The trees that clog your gutters
Duffins Creek threads through town with mature maple and willow cover, and the older south end has street trees big enough to fill a gutter in one October week. Newer northern blocks shed less but clog builder-grade downspouts fast.
The homes we service here
Post-war homes and bungalows near the lake, family two-storeys through central Ajax, and dense new two-storeys in Audley with tight side yards. We carry ladder setups for all of it.
When to book in Ajax
Ajax runs on Duffins Creek's clock. The corridor's maples and the big south-end street trees can fill an eavestrough in one October week, with the main drop landing late October to mid-November — be on the calendar by mid-October, because the last clear weekends before the freeze go first. The willows along the creek trail into November and keep shedding whippy material for weeks after the maples finish. Audley's newer blocks are lighter but less forgiving: builder-grade downspouts clog on the first heavy drop, so early beats often up there.
What the job involves in Ajax
South of the 401 the work is classic mature-street cleaning: heavy loads, older fascia treated kindly, post-war bungalows at $339 and family two-storeys at $399. North of it, Audley is a geometry route — dense two-storeys at $349 as townhouses, tight side yards we set ladders in daily, and discharge checks because spouts exit close to two foundations at once. Willow debris gets the hard flush everywhere on this route; it wraps into elbows and shrugs off half-measures. Every job ends with the flow test and the photo set, both included.
