The trees that clog your gutters
Lorne Park and Port Credit carry big silver maples and oaks, while the newer subdivisions have younger maples that still shed enough to clog a guard over a season.
The homes we service here
Lots of two-storey detached homes and townhouse blocks, many with gutter guards. Taking guards off and putting them back takes time, so a cleaning with guards adds $40.
When to book in Mississauga
Mississauga splits its calendar at the QEW. North of it, the younger street maples of Meadowvale and Erin Mills finish dropping by early November, so one well-timed clean usually carries those homes through winter. South of it, the mature oaks of Lorne Park, Port Credit and Clarkson hold their leaves into mid-to-late November — book lakeside cleans late, or plan a second pass after the oaks finally let go. Spring matters everywhere here: the June maple-key drop clogs guarded and open troughs alike.
What the job involves in Mississauga
The defining Mississauga detail is guards. A large share of homes came with builder-installed screens, so many of our cleanings are lift-and-reseat jobs: slower, more careful work that adds $40 to a two-storey townhouse ($349) or detached home ($399). The townhouse blocks add shared-run plumbing, where one blocked elbow can back water up across three units. The photo set matters most here: what comes out from under a guard is something owners genuinely do not believe until they see it.
